MAY the fourth be with you!
That was the cry as Stormtroopers took a break from fighting the Jedi to do a spot of shopping at WestQuay in Southampton to celebrate International Star Wars Day.
Stormtroopers on the hunt for bargains at WestQuay
Fans of the big screen science fiction series - already thrilled with the recent revelations that a seventh film is to be made with some of the original stars such as Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher - were delighted to see Darth Vader's “evil” henchmen browsing for bargains and even enjoying a coffee.
There is even time for a selfie between shops.
Phil Drinkwater, regional marketing manager of WestQuay owner Hammerson, said: "Battling the empire must be hard work, so we are glad that we could provide some refuge to our gang of Stormtroopers this May 4.
"We hope they enjoyed their day out and that they'll take time out of their busy schedule to visit again soon."
