THE Official Monster Raving Loony Party has launched its European elections campaign in Hampshire.
Party members visited two Winchester pubs, the Fulflood Arms and The Albion, after unveiling their latest Monster Mash ale at the Mash Brewery at Burcot Farm, East Stratton, near Micheldever.
It marks the 30th anniversary of the first time the party ever fielded a candidate in an election.
In November 1997 The Albion was the base for then party leader, the late Screaming Lord Sutch, when he stood at the famous election in the city between Liberal Democrat Mark Oaten and Conservative Gerry Malone.
The party’s manifesto promises a referendum on Europe where the options will be In, Out or Shake It All About.
