CATERING students at Fareham College served up a special gourmet lunch with the help of Celebrity TV Chef Paul Merrett.
Paul prepared the lunch along with the students for specially invited guests. Last summer £100,000 was invested in new training kitchens for the college's catering and hospitality department.
It was an ideal opportunity for students to work with a high profile professional chef for a day as well as making full use of the impressive new facilities.
Paul said: "I love them! They are trying so hard. The day has been even better than I imagined. The new facilities are really amazing.
"It's a huge benefit for students to get used to a professional kitchen set up while they are still training as it can be daunting enough to start a job within the industry and see a professional kitchen for the first time. I have done a lot of work in different colleges and very few facilities are as good as these."
