A GRIEVING family has been told they will not receive a penny of compensation for the death of their son who was stabbed on a Hampshire street.
Daniel Loader, 17, was twice stabbed in the back by teenager Damien Kershaw who was convicted of his manslaughter last year.
Now Daniel's parents, Paul and Patsy who have been too grief stricken to return to work, have been told they will not get any money from a national compensation board because of Daniel's own criminal record.
It is a fresh blow for the family who said they are being penalised for Daniel's death because he never got a chance to show how he had turned his life around.
