COME on the Azzurri!
That is the rallying cry from England fans across Hampshire as the Three Lions now are reliant on Italy getting a victory today against Costa Rica after last night's disappointing 2-1 defeat against Uruguay in the World Cup.
England now stand on the brink of elimination from Group D, after suffering consecutive defeats to Italy and Uruguay, and need a minor miracle to still go through.
But it can only happen if Italy beat both Costa Rica and Uruguay and if England beat Costa Rica convincingly.
Staff at the Scoozi Italian restaurant in Oxford Street will be watching in with keen interest.
Manager Sunny Sarfari, is expecting many Italians to come to the restaurant and watch the game, which kicks off at 5pm.
Sunny said: “I think Italy will destroy Costa Rica. They have big game players like Andrea Pirlo and Mario Balotelli who can change the game.”
“I thought England would have won last night but what happened has happened, I still think they have a chance.”
