BROADCASTING legend Terry Wogan is in for a special sizzling treat all the way from the New Forest on Monday.
Live on air on his breakfast radio show, Wogan, pictured, will be sampling some of the Forest's finest morning fayre.
He will be trying The New Forest Breakfast, a feast in which every single ingredient is produced locally and bears the New Forest Marque of quality.
Terry will be sampling food from across the UK all week as part of Farmhouse Breakfast Week.
The New Forest breakfast comprises free-range pork sausages, dry cure bacon, egg, tomato, a large Forest mushroom and wholemeal bread.
Since its launch at the 2005 New Forest Show, the breakfast has been sold at local hotels, farm shops, bed and breakfasts and pubs.
Councillor Melville Kendal, leader of New Forest District Council, said: "We are very pleased the breakfast will be on Radio 2 - hopefully it will whet listeners' appetites for a taste of the Forest."
