A cafe is doing its bit to get the community recycling.
Residents in Fareham can drop off different types of waste packaging such as coffee packaging or biscuit wrappers at the Cafe Imbizo. The venue, in West Street, has a collection box, which it is using to raise money for the Suspended Coffee Scheme.
The town is among the first communities to take part.
The scheme, set up by recycling experts TerraCycle, allows public hubs where people can drop off certain types of waste packaging for recycling which cannot be included in the local council kerbside recycling collections and would otherwise end up in landfill.
The recycling includes any brand of waste coffee refill bags, coffee bean bags, single serving coffee sachets, plastic coffee jar lids and biscuit wrappers.
You can drop items off between 9am to 4pm, Monday to Saturday.
