They kicked off their Premier League charity challenge in style.
Father and son Simon and Henry Stone arrived at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton in a Ferrari as they began their quest to visit all 20 Premiership grounds using a variety of transport – from skateboards to canoes.
As reported by the Daily Echo, the pair from Chandler’s Ford are hoping to raise more than £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support through the stadium tour.
Simon, 48, who runs his own catering company and is a coach at the Saints Foundation, said: “It’s been a great start and we are really enjoying the experience. Henry loved turning up in the Ferarri. We are both looking forward to going round all the grounds.”
Simon and Henry, 13, a Toynbee School student, will visit the homes of West Ham, Queens Park Rangers and Chelsea today.
They have already ticked off Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Tottenham over the weekend.
