Firefighters called to blaze in house
FIREFIGHTERS were called into action last night after a cooker caught fire.
Crews from Hythe and Hardley spent 30 minutes tackling the blaze which started within a semi-detached home in Shoblands Way, Hythe, just after 7.40pm.
The crews used two jets and two sets of breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire by 8.15pm.
