A children's cancer charity is appealing for volunteers to help with a bucket collection.
CLIC Sargent is holding its Big Bucket Collection 2014 next month and it needs teams of fundraisers to help make it a success and reach its target of more than £150,000.
Collections will be taking place at supermarkets, shopping centres and other venues throughout the city in September to raise money to pay for the support that the charity gives to youngsters fighting cancer and their families.
The charity currently reaches two out of three children and young people with cancer and the money raised from the collections will help them to be there for even more in need of support.
Anna Penwarden, from CLIC Sargent, said: "Bucket collectors who give their time to CLIC Sargent this September will be helping the charity to reach more children and families that need our support."
