A HAMPSHIRE woman has been arrested after a fatal road collision.
The 45-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing death by driving without due care after the collision in Cornwall yesterday.
A 25-year-old motorcycle rider sustained a serious head injury in a collision with a Volvo XC90 on Tredenham Road in St Mawes at 5.55pm.
The man, who is from the Truro area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Volvo, who is from Hook, was questioned by police following the collision and has been bailed until November 19.
The road was closed for six hours for officers to carry out an examination of the scene.
An investigation has been launched into the collision, and police asking for anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting log number 653 of 19/08/14.
