POLICE are hunting two thieves who pushed over a man before kicking him as he lay on the ground for just £10.
The 29-year-old man was walking along the Gosport cycle track near Victoria Station, when he was confronted by the two thugs who started kicking him when he fell to the ground.
They snatched his wallet, stole £10 in cash before throwing the wallet back and fleeing the scene.
The victim received hospital treatment for cuts and bruises.
Both thieves are described as being white, aged in their mid-20s to mid-30s, of medium build and both wearing zipped tops. One was wearing a light coloured baseball cal and the other was wearing dark coloured tracksuit trousers with three white stripes going down each leg.
Anyone with information about the theft, which happened on Sunday, should contact Detective Constable Owen Woods at Fareham CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
