THIS IS the man police want to speak to after hooded thieves pushed a man to the ground before stealing his wallet containing hundreds of pounds in cash.
The 31-year-old victim was walking along the alleyway between Bournemouth Road and Remplars Way, in Chandler's Ford, when he was targeted by the two men.
They pushed him to the ground, snatched his bag and wallet, which had £280 inside.
The victim suffered a minor injury to his wrist and his bag was later recovered nearby.
Both thieves were described as being in their early 20's, of a slim build and wearing hooded tops.
PC Olly Maidment, said: “The victim has been left understandably shaken by what has happened to him, however, has managed to help us produce an efit of one of the suspects involved. Do you recognise this man?
“The incident took place during a busy time of day and I would urge anyone who was passing the location at the relevant time who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to make contact with us.”
Anyone with information about the incident, which happened on August 8, between 9am and 10am, should contact PC Maidment at Lyndhurst CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
