A HAMPSHIRE health board has had a shake-up after summer elections.
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Southampton General and Princess Anne hospitals, has appointed five new governors.
The trust’s council of governors is divided into geographical wards, and Heather Parsons, Bryan Bird and Andrew Grapes have all been elected for the New Forest, Eastleigh and Test Valley constituency.
Meanwhile consultant urological surgeon Brian Birch was re-elected representative for medical and dental staff, with Annette Purkis taking the seat for other clinical staff.
All five will begin their posts from October 1.
The council has 23 governors who give a voice to the trust’s 20,000 members.
But there are still four vacant seats available, including in New Forest, Eastleigh and Test Valley.
