Free cycle event to start in city
A CHALLENGING 29-mile cycle event will start from Southampton on Sunday.
The SkyRide event will start at 10am at the Peace Fountain in Andrew’s Park, before setting off into the Hampshire countryside.
It will follow the banks of the River Itchen to Bishopstoke before taking in Upham, Bishop's Waltham, Wintershill and Horton Heath.
It is free, but anyone wanting to take part needs to register at www.goskyride.com/southampton.
