Appeal launched for unwanted outdoor clothing
A WINCHESTER shop is appealing for unwanted outdoor clothing to donate to charitable causes.
Rohan, in The Square, will run its Gift Your Gear scheme throughout September, which encourages people to take any unwanted but usable outdoor trousers, jackets and fleeces into the shop.
The items will then be donated to community organisations, youth groups, and charities for outdoor projects.
The store ran the appeal in March, and 9,000 items were donated nationwide.
To apply for the donated items, email sarah.howcroft@ gmail.com, explaining the reasons why they are needed.
