A HEARING loss charity is calling on county residents suffering from deafness or tinnitus to help shape its policy.
Action on Hearing Loss, Britain’s largest hearing loss charity, is appealing for people with hearing problems to join its research panel.
Volunteers will take part in interviews, focus groups and surveys in order to gather information for the charity’s policy and campaigns.
Roger Wicks, policy and campaigns director with the charity, said: “We’d be grateful if Hampshire residents would get involved in our panel, which we hope offers a great opportunity to feed in their first-hand experience of hearing loss and highlight everyday issues that will help shape our future work.
“We want to keep supporting people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus to live their lives to the full.”
To become a volunteer and get involved in the research panel, people are asked to visit aohl.org.uk/ researchpanel or email panel@hearingloss.org.uk for more information.
