A JUDGE told a Southampton man who breached a suspended sentence order: “You have come extraordinarily close to going into custody.”
Judge Peter Henry heard Kane Morgan had been given the term in February for burglary and theft. However he had breached the order by twice missing supervision appointments.
On the first occasion, the city crown court heard, he forgot about it and the second he was late.
Morgan, 19, of Cherwell Crescent, Millbrook, admitted the breaches and was ordered to attend three sessions of a probation service run specified activities programme.
“If there is a further breach, I have no doubt the court will not be so lenient,” the judge warned him.
