A SOUTHAMPTON sailing charity has welcomed their new ambassador.
Chris Feibusch is now part of the team at the Sailor’s Society, which provides support for people who work on ships across the country.
And as the head of global marketing at Drew Marine Signal and Safety, Chris will be using his contacts in the industry to help promote the cause.
Chris’ role will involve speaking on behalf of the Sailor’s Society, encouraging companies and individuals to offer their support as well as working on new ideas and initiatives for collaboration between the society and the maritime safety industry.
He said: “The Sailor’s Society’s work around the world is really inspiring, as it takes a holistic approach and addresses all aspects of welfare in the seafaring community.”
