A Hampshire artist is hanging his paintings up at a New Forest gallery days after his work was selected for an open exhibition.
Days after Andrew Halliday had his painting of Lymington’s St Thomas Street selected for the St Barbe Museum and Art gallery’s Summer Open Exhibition he was asked to exhibit eight further paintings in September.
The Lymington artist also has 12 paintings on show in the Garden Room at The Filly Inn, Brockenhurst for the next few months.
Andrew said: “I am really excited about St Barbe Museum and Art Gallery, which comes straight after Hampshire Open Studios.
“It is a privilege to have my work exhibited at St Barbe when it hosts an exclusive programme of exhibitions that regularly include works on loan from national and regional collections.
"It has acquired a reputation as one of the finest museums and art galleries in the region.”
From September Andrew’s work will also be exhibited at The Riverside Gallery in Barnes, London.
