THE funeral of a Southampton dad hit and killed by a car in the Caribbean will take place today.
Quinton Garrathy’s funeral will be held at Romsey Abbey at 1.30pm, and more than 500 people are expected to attend.
The 38-year-old, pictured, was hit by a car in St Lucia on August 2.
He had recently celebrated the first anniversary of his wedding to wife Naomi, while his daughter Olivia- Rae had been born three months earlier.
Dozens of tributes poured in for the popular Virgin Atlantic crew member, from Bassett, and it was announced last week that Virgin would name a new aircraft after Quinton’s daughter in his honour.
His family say anyone who knew Quinton is welcome to attend the funeral, and have requested that anyone attending should wear bright clothes.
