YOU can ride a Roman road in a free cycling event in Hampshire tomorrow.
The SkyRide local event will start at the Hawthorns Centre at Southampton Common at 10am.
The 11-mile route will head north to the Forestry Commission site at Lordswood along a Roman road, taking in Iron Age earthworks and the Warrior’s Memorial.
Another ride starts at Mansel Park Pavilion off Evonlode Road, Southamp-ton, at 10am.
Lasting for about two hours and 15 minutes it will take in rural lanes around Romsey before heading back through Adanac Park.
A third route will start at Riverside Park next to Cobden Bridge at 2pm tomorrow.
It will then make its way north towards Southampton Airport, Lakeside Country Park, Stoneham Park and Fleming Park.
