A NEW Nursery is set to open in Southampton’s £500m Centenary Quay development.
The YMCA nursery at the site in Woolston will open its doors for the first time today.
It will cater for youngsters aged from four months to five years and see 25 members of staff employed.
Facilities at the new nursery will include playrooms and a large outdoor space.
Parents who register their child before September 30 will receive one month’s complimentary childcare.
Nursery manager Michaela Oscroft said: “Accessible and quality childcare is essential for families and we are excited to be able to expand our childcare services to Centenary Quay and take part in the regeneration of Woolston.
“I am thrilled to have the privilege of being the manager for this new purpose-built YMCA Nursery.”
