IMPROVEMENT plans for an accident blackspot in Kings Worthy could soon be approved.
Proposals to reduce the speed limit and improve sight lines at the A33 Cart & Horses junction with London Road and the B3047 in Kings Worthy will go before Hampshire County Council this month.
Plans for a roundabout were last year rejected due to an estimated £3 million cost.
Cllr Sean Woodward, executive member for economy, transport and environment, said the council is proposing three safety improvements at the junction, namely a footway layout, signing and lining measures and a potential speed limit change.
The plans will be reviewed on Tuesday, September 9.
