A HAMPSHIRE MP has welcomed extending early education to more of the county’s children.
Gosport MP Caroline Dinenage praised the news that the Government has extended the entitlement of 15 hours of free early education to 40 per cent of the most disadvantaged two-year-olds. This more than doubles the number of children who can benefit from the initiative to 260,000 and it includes 4,000 children in Hampshire.
Caroline said: “This will help to ensure that all children are able to reach their full potential.”
