FORMER Celebrity Big Brother housemate Ken Russell has labelled Jade Goody and some of her allies on the show, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara, as "guttersnipes".

The New Forest film director was addressing a meeting of Asian film directors at the Welsh Assembly.

The meeting was to promote Wales as a location for Bollywood movies.

Ken used the opportunity to attack 25-year-old Jade, who has been accused of racist bullying aimed at Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty, during her stay in the house.

Asked if he thought the way Shilpa, 31, was bullied in the house was racially motivated.

Ken, 79, said: "Yes, I've studied the programme and there's no doubt about it, Jade led the other two girls - who were just rather pretty, mindless ladies and, until she came in, doing no harm - into absolute bullies, like herself.

"And their language is just absolutely, well, they are just guttersnipes."

Five Big Brother Housemates face eviction this week. Dirk, Cleo, Shilpa, Ian and Jo face the public vote and two of them will be evicted during the live shows tomorrow at 8.30pm and 10.30pm.
