THOUSANDS of revellers will be putting on their fancy dress today as the party continues at the last major music festival of the summer.
More than 50,000 have travelled across to the Isle of Wight for Bestival which this year has taken on the theme of Desert Island Disco for the event at Robin Hill Country Park.
Today is the main fancy dress day with a parade passing through the site.
The four-day event, which has sold out for the 10th year in a row, was kicked off on Thursday night by Beck who played fans' favourites including Loser and Where It's At.
Last night US hip hop act OutKast played to a packed main stage opening with the frenetic Bombs over Baghdad and they continued to keep the crowd dancing during their headline slot.
Frontman Andre 3000 got into the fancy dress mood and donned a platinum wig and white-rimmed sunglasses during the show which featured hits such as Ms Jackson and Hey Ya.
Earlier Sam Smith had the crowds singing along with his hits including Stay With Me and Money on My Mind before he made a guest appearance with dance act Disclosure to sing Latch.
Away from the main stage La Roux thrilled their fans with their big hit Bulletproof as well as showcasing material from new album Trouble in Paradise as they appeared with a new line-up which lead singer Elly Jackson told the crowd was making its first festival appearance.
The festival has several smaller stages giving up-and-coming acts a chance to reach bigger audiences such as Portsmouth's Kassassin Street which had the crowds dancing at the Bandstand.
Indie rockers Foals, from Oxford, will headline tonight with Chic featuring Nile Rodgers closing the festival tomorrow.
Festival curator Rob da Bank has created a giant disco ball for the occasion which is expected to break the record for being the world's largest when it is confirmed by judges from Guinness World Records during the weekend.
The current record for the largest disco ball is 9.98 metres and the Bestival ball is expected to be more than 10 metres.
Meanwhile a Hampshire couple will get married for the second time in three days.
Donna Clark and Darren Smith set sail to the Isle of Wight after their wedding at Southampton Register Office on Thursday.
Now they’re going to say their vows all over again in front of thousands of revellers at Bestival.
The couple from Totton will wed today in the Big Love Inflatable Church.
