ONE of the biggest performers billed for Bestival has pulled out at the last moment.
Rapper Busta Rhymes was set for the main stage at 4.30pm today but cancelled - citing changes to his forthcoming European tour.
He will be replaced by scratch master DJ Yoda - who also performed last night.
A joint statement released today by Busta's management and festival organiser said: "Due to the cancellation of various dates in Europe, Busta will now not be able to perform at Bestival. Busta’s team and Bestival are now working directly to try to bring him to Bestival 2015."
Preparations for the final day of the festival at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight kicked off as early as 6am as a huge crane was hooked up to the giant mirrorball above the main stage.
Organisers will be gunning for a Guinness World Record when they suspend and spin it during a set by headliners Chic and Nile Rodgers.
Misty smoke has been mysteriously emanating from it periodically today ahead of the big moment.
Meanwhile hip hop group The Pharcyde got the crowd buzzing with tunes from their critically acclaimed 1992 album Bizarre Ride as the sun blazed down.
Fine weather continued for Electropop act Clean Bandit's more relaxing performance.
Paloma Faith and Major Lazer, Chase and Status and the Dub Pistols are also due to play later.
