A HAMPSHIRE disability charity has been recognised for its efforts to get the unemployed back to work.
Enham Trust’s work programme has been awarded ‘Supplier of the Quarter’ by Maximus, a leading provider of government services worldwide.
This recognised the charity’s performance in getting clients sustained employment in the second quarter of 2014.
The Work Programme supports unemployed people, including many with disabilities, back into work across Andover, Newbury and Winchester.
The team at Enham assist their customers with one-to-one and group sessions and advice and through its local relationships with employers.
The charity, in Enham Alamein, near Andover, was founded in 1918 to help injured soldiers returning from the First World War and supports people with disabilities to lead independent lives.
