AN insurance broker is celebrating after its marine group recorded a strong performance.

Coleman Insurance Broker’s marine team has seen significant and continued growth in recent months, including across its marine specialisms, such as marine trade, yacht and motorboat, superyacht, commercial craft and yacht shipping insurance services.

The firm, which has offices in Southampton, is a regular fixture at the PSP Southampton Boat Show, which begins on Friday.

The marine team is led by Andrew Skinner, who brings with him more than 25 years’ marine insurance experience including underwriting roles in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market.

He is supported by Amy Houldsworth, account executive for marine trade and yacht shipping, and Stephen Cooper, account executive for marine trade.

Andrew said: “We are really looking forward to meeting new and existing clients at the forthcoming Cannes, Scottish and Southampton boat shows.

“Such shows provided a great shop window for our marine expertise and allows us to be on hand during the show to meet with clients to discuss their needs and to develop new business relationships within the marine sector.
