This original musical comedy, written and directed by John Conway, is a modern fairytale with a dash of magic, a dose of evil and a camp fairy in a tutu.
A group of misfit school kids put on a musical and realise their dreams helped by a fairy godmother and her assistant, with a few adventures along the way.
The pace was a little slow to start but this picked up in the second half and built up to a catchy, energetic chorus number Rocking in my Cradle. A highlight was Lizzie Thomas's beautiful rendition of Once Upon a Time.
The chorus all sang well and the simple choreography was well rehearsed and effective. All of the lead characters carried their parts off well, particularly Emma Fells (Millie). The direction was good in the Land of the Wicked Witch scene, helped by some very cute elves. Ends Saturday.
