Parachutes are a Southampton based Coldplay tribute band that have been causing quite a stir recently with their uncanny coverage of the indie golden boys.
As most Coldplay fans will know, Chris Martin and co. only play a handful of gigs every couple of years.
Even then, they're usually festival dates that would involve buying tickets weighing up to £100.
Public opinion has certainly shown that this quartet, who are the only Coldplay tribute band in the south, are the next best thing, and they have a gig tommorrow night at the Bitterne Park Hotel in Southampton.
Formed in 2005, Parachutes consists of frontman Scott Collings, guitarist Lee Abraham, Pete Newberry on bass and Steve Kingman on drums.
The group have been noted for their authenticity so any Coldplay fan is urged to attend this, their only scheduled Southampton appearance this year.
