MOTORISTS are facing delays in Hampshire after crashes on two of the county's motorways this afternoon.
In the first incident, emergency services racedto the scene to deal with the four-car crash while westbound queues build up on the M27 near to junction 7.
Three people have been injured, with two of them being taken to hospital, in the incident which happened at 1.10 pm.
The westbound carriageway was completely closed following the collisions, although two lanes were reopened by 1.50pm in an attempt to get traffic moving again, with the damaged vehicles being moved to the hard shoulder.
In the second crash, three people were injured in a pile-up on on the M271.
Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway after three cars were involved in a crash at 11.55am.
Two children and one woman were treated at the scene before being taken to Southampton General Hospital to be treated for “non-critical injuries”.
