POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road crash in Hampshire in which a man died when his car crashed into a tree.
The 40-year-old from South Warnborough was driving a black Audi S5 at Shalden just before at 7.55pm on Tuesday, October 7.
Officers want to speak to two drivers who were part of a three-vehicle convoy travelling south towards Alton on the B3349 before the crash.
They also want to speak to two female drivers who stopped at the scene.
Hampshire Police believe the cars were a pale green or mint green Ford Fiesta and a coffee coloured or brown car - possibly a new Skoda.
Anyone with any information is asked to call 101 quoting Operation Martello or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
