Man accused of bottle attack
A NEW Forest man has appeared in court in connection with an alleged bottle attack that left another person needing nine stitches for a head injury.
Miguel Costa, 20, was accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on Sean Hannon. He also faced a second allegation of causing actual bodily harm to Adam Greaves, who suffered a split lip in the same incident on a street in New Milton.
Costa, of New Milton, did not enter a plea and had his case at Southampton Crown Court adjourned until December 5.
