A BUSY Hampshire road has reopened after a crash in which two people were injured.
Long Lane, Holbury, was closed in both directions just before 9am following a two-vehicle accident outside Hallum funeral directors.
It happened near New Forest Academy, formerly Hardley School & Sixth-Form, but is not thought to have involved any pupils.
One person was trapped in the wreckage of the vehicles and had to be cut free by crews from Hythe and Hardley fire stations.
Two people were taken to Southampton General Hospital with what police described as minor injuries.
One of the casualties was placed on a spinal board as a precaution and the other had facial wounds.
