Sea-themed lectures at uni hall
A SERIES of sea-themed lectures returns to Southampton tomorrow.
The Shipwrights Lectures take place at the Turner Sims hall at the University of Southampton at 2.30pm.
This year’s line-up includes Prof Ajit R Shenoi, the first director of the Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute, Oyster Yachts joiner shipwright Alice le Good and Gerry Hughes, the first deaf person to sail single-handed around the world.
