Station car park to get more spaces
ALMOST 40 new car parking spaces are set to be built in Wickham Station car park, more than doubling capacity from 26 to 64 spaces.
Winchester City planners approved the scheme after extensive environmental research.
The car park is on the edge of woodland in the conservation area but ecologists said the small extension would not threaten roosting bats or dormice.
