Motorists suffering motorway tailbacks
MOTORISTS are suffering delays after a crash on a Hampshire motorway today.
The two vehicle crash on the M27 between junction nine at Whiteley and junction eight at Bursledon is blocking the outside lane of the westbound carriageway.
The incident happened just after 7am this morning and one person suffered minor injuries.
An ambulance and two police cars are currently at the scene.
Motorists travelling in both directions faced long tailbacks – one motorist reported 30 minute delays between junction three at the M271 and junction four leading to the M3.
