Warning over bogus loft insulation callers working across Hampshire
HAMPSHIRE Trading Standards has issued a warning to residents about bogus calls offering wall and loft insulation.
The department has advised residents against agreeing to work instigated by a cold-call or a leaflet and instead to obtain three separate quotes from reputable firms.
It advises to choose firms that are either members of the Hamp-shire County Council Trading Standards Buy With Confidence Scheme or another recognised trade association.
Anyone with information about cold-callers is urged to contact Hampshire County Council’s Quick Response Team on 01962 833666.
