Children from a Hampshire school have personally delivered letters to 10 Downing Street.
Caroline Dinenage, Tory MP for Gosport, escorted students from Peel Common Junior School to Prime Minister David Cameron’s home after they wrote a petition asking for further action on the Millennium Development Goals.
More than 50 pupils met Ms Dinenage for a tour through Parliament before delivering their letters.
Each letter included a request for the Prime Minister to take further action and extend the impact of the goals, which include eradicating hunger, achieving universal primary education, promoting gender equality and reducing child mortality.
