The man who helps keeps the engine of a Hampshire bus firm running has been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Managing director of First Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire Marc Reddy who is based at First Hampshire, Dorset & Berkshire depot in Empress Road, Southampton is in the running for the Manager of the Year, Large Operator in the annual awards organised by Route One.
Since being appointed to the role last year, the 43-year-old has been responsible for a business which comprises 1,200 staff based at 11 depots, including Southampton, Portsmouth and Fareham, and 470 vehicles.
His 26-year career has seen him become a commercial director and then deputy managing director for First Hampshire and Dorset between 2001 and 2006.
The results will be announced on November 5.
