POLICE are hunting arsonists who torched a derelict hotel.
The Royal Cliff Hotel in Sandown on the Isle of Wight was destroyed by the blaze on Saturday. Now police are appealing for more witnesses as detectives suspect it was an arson attack.
Investigating officer Detective Constable, Dave Pain, of Isle of Wight CID, said: “I'd like to thank the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service and members of the public for all their assistance with our enquiries so far.”
Police are asking if anyone saw anyone acting suspiciously in Beachfield Road and Grange Road after 10pm on Saturday.
If anyone has any information they are asked to contact Detective Constable Dave Pain of Isle of Wight CID by phoning 101.
