Bathroom fire
FIRE crews were called to a blaze in the bathroom of a Southampton home on Tuesday night.
A woman in her 20s found flames pouring from the extractor fan 30 minutes after getting out of the bath.
She and a man, also in his 20s, put the fire out but asked the crews from St Mary’s fire station to check the home in Burton Road was safe.
The man had asked the two fire crews for help when he spotted them at nearby Ordell Court in Archers Road where they had been rescuing a man who had been stuck in a lift.
No one was hurt in either incident.
