A SOUTHAMPTON fan provoked the wrath of unfortunate Sunderland own-goal scorer Santiago Vergini after Saints thrashed the Black Cats.
Vergini opened the scoring during the 8-0 demolition by firing a clearance into his own net from 18 yards.
And his afternoon didn't get any better thanks to Southampton fan Samuel Foyle, who mocked him after the game.

Mr Foyle tweeted a picture with the clearly-annoyed Sunderland defender after the game, holding up eight fingers and laughing.
He wrote: “Me with Sunderland CB and own goal scorer Santiago Vergini...he genuinely hit me after this”.
The message was retweeted more than 7,000 times to the delight of other Twitter users.
One wrote: “Mate, this is the best thing I've ever seen”, with another commenting: “Please tell me that's true.”
