GUESTS at a Daily Echo-backed ball on Friday were delighted to play hook-a-duck and throw coconuts as they donated money to charity.
The Southampton Property Association (SPA) event also featured auctions for items including a wine tasting dinner, clay pigeon shooting and signed Southampton FC shirts.
The event at St Mary’s Stadium was organised to raise money for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
In the past the ball, a joint SPA and Daily Echo event, has raised thousands of pounds for charities including the Rose Road Association, The Fire Fighters Charity and Wessex Cancer Trust.
Lucy Richmond, vice-chairman of SPA, said: “I like anything to do with charity when people put their hands in their pockets.”
