COMMUTERS are facing delays on a Hampshire motorway after a vehicle fire forced a lane to be closed this afternoon.
Fire fighters were sent to the eastbound carriage of the M27 between junctions seven and eight after a white Transit van was “severely damaged” by fire at 4.30pm.
Lane one was reopened shortly afterwards but travellers can expect tailbacks back to junction four of the motorway.
