Hunt for arsonists continues after vehicles torched
POLICE are continuing to hunt arsonists after an attack in which two vehicles were torched in a Southampton car park.
A white Vauxhall Astra van and black Mercedes 4x4 were found alight in bays in Macnaghten Road, Bitterne, close to Bitterne railway station.
The flames were eventually put out by crews from St Mary’s fire station.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, which took place shortly after midnight on Sunday, should contact police on 101.
