THREE people were injured in a crash in a Southampton which has caused delays across the city.
Both Northam Road and Britannia Road in Southampton were shut in both directions for two hours this afternoon following a two-vehicle crash just after 5pm.
Hampshire Fire & Rescue had to cut a motorist from a van at the scene before they were taken to Southampton General Hospital.
Two other people were treated at the site of the crash.
It is believed the person cut from the van did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Emergency services have now finished at the scene but motorists are urged to avoid the area by the city council highways team and to expect "very long delays".
All traffic on Northam Road heading out of the city is being diverted to the Itchen Bridge or to Bevois Valley.
