MORE than 100 homes were left without tap water after a main burst at Dunbridge, near Romsey.
Worst hit by the fractured pipe were homes in nearby Mottisfont where 130 properties didn’t have running water for about five and a half hours on Monday evening and into the early hours of Tuesday.
This included homes in the Hatt Hill and Spearywell Road areas of the village.
A Southern Water spokesman said: “A burst water main in Lockerley Road was to blame.”
